Kuusamo (800km north from Helsinki, 215 km east from Oulu. The area is famous for its unique nature and attracts one million visitors every years.

The camp consists of two parts. The first week and the last two days you will spend  together with your Finnish host families to get an idea of the Finnish way of life. During the seven days long camp period you will be enjoying activities like canoeing, hiking, (not too much), swimming and doing projects with other 15 young people from several EEMA countries. Local Kuusamo Rotary Club has built for you and your new coming friends a program you will never forget.

Host families and Camp.

Your personal medication and suitable clothing : the day time temperature is typically between 15 – 20C. Water temperature is around 18C. Take your swimming suit with you.In the evenings participants can go swimming in a lake and try the Finnish Sauna.

Arrival : On july 23rd by Finnair flight AY397 fromHelsinki  at 16H45 to Kuusamo, arrival at 17H35.

Departure : On August 8th at 13H30 by Finnair flight AY396 from Kuusamo to Helsinki, arrival at 14H45.

Participants pay their costs to and from Kuusamo and shall have their own pocket money.
