Switzerland and Liechtenstein

Two weeks tour by bike in the eastern part of Switzerland/Liechtenstein with a mixed program consisting of cycling, a cultural/historical program and experiencing international friendship.

Daily stages between 50 and 70 km up and down in the pre-alpine and alpine area with hills and passes, on tar and/off roads.One free day.

Primarily biking, but also cultural programs with local Rotary Clubs. The camp is basically a non-smoking camp.

Itinerary : Zürich –Baden – Rheinfelden – Schaffhausen – Weinfelden – St Gallen – Appenzell – VaduzFL – Wattwil – Zürich.

24/7 – 7/8/2010.

21 participants , 1-2 girls or boys from each country.

The first 21 applicants will be accepted.

Important : No beginners should apply ; however, the bikers need not to be “ professionals”.

The applicants who are accepted by the organisers will receive a detailed list of clothing and equipment suggestions as well as a detailed list of clothing and equipoment suggestions as well as a detailed tour-program.

Districts 2000 SWITZERLAND

On Saturday afternoon 24^th July at Zurich-Airport (Kloten)  or Zurich-Airport Railway Station.

Pickups : Zurich Airport and Zurich Airport Railway station.

Travel costs to and from the camp, compulsory Rotary International basic Insurance of 40€ and hire of a mountain bike 200 €. All other costs for the camp are sponsored  by the organising clubs and district.
