International Youth camp in District 1850 Germany
 


Invitation for 1 candidate.

Participants One girl or one boy from each country
Aim of the camp Young Europeans find their "Olympic spirit" in rural Germany
Program Our guests will stay with families of rotarians (11-18 july) and will then be lodged in quite a comfortable hotel of an adult education centre in Cloppenburg.During this time the program for our guests includes sports activities like riding,sailing,biking,golfing, etc. andlots of economical and cultural activities.Famous Meyer Shipyard,big firms, antique battle grounds (Varusschlacht) and old cities (Osnabrück, city of the Treay of the 30 years War) shall be visited and explained.
Bring sports and casual clothing.
Our guests shall get a deeper insight into German culture and society beyond the Football World Championship mentality of 2006.
Language Participants shall have a working knowledge of English.
German and other languages are welcome.
Location Germany, Lower Saxony, County Cloppenburg
Age 18-19
Period July 11 to July 26 2008.
Date of arrival: Friday 11 July - Railway station Osnabrück or Cloppenburg.
Date of departure: Saturday 26 July - Railway station of Cloppenburg.
Accomodation Our guests will stay in tents with complete beds with sheets and blankets.
Hosting Rotary Clubs Rc Friesoythe -Artland -Cloppenburg;
Rc Cloppenburg -Quakenbrück;
Rc Bersenbrück Altkreis
Cost and Insurance Journey to and from Cloppenburg and health insurance have to be paid by guests.
